I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. the location was also perfect, close to some amazing surfing spots and offering beautiful views. the hostel had a great atmosphere and the common areas were comfortable and well-maintained.
The breakfast provided was quite simple, but it was still decent enough. some of the shared spaces could have been a little cleaner, although it wasn't a major problem.

The hostel was in a great spot, really close to the beach and within walking distance to town. It made it super convenient for us to go surfing and explore the area. We really enjoyed the outdoor terrace at the hostel. It was a nice place to relax and soak up the sun after a day of activities.
The hostel could definitely use some maintenance. Some areas were a bit run down and could use some updating.

Rougey Lodge was conveniently located on the main street, offering nice views of the sea from our room. The hostel had a good shower with plenty of hot water and an organized kitchen with clear storage containers. The breakfast was good, and the dining room was relaxing. Parking was free and adjacent to a supermarket. The atmosphere at the back of the property at night was enjoyable.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

I had a great first time hostel experience at Rougey Lodge. The cleanliness was top-notch, with clean white linen and a comfortable bed. The check-in process was easy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I was even invited to an evening BBQ upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The atmosphere was mostly surfing focused, but as a non-surfer, I felt right at home and everyone was very friendly.

The hostel had a great atmosphere and a creative vibe, with unique art and a young crowd. The beds were comfortable and the showers were clean. I also appreciated the convenient location, close to local amenities and a supermarket.
There were some negatives during my stay. The staff could be quite miserable and unwelcoming, which made me feel like an intruder.
